- Li Yan Chu, an historian during China's Sui Dynasty, wrote about China, the Middle Kingdom, which came together as an empire during the Qin Dynasty, and China's first great explorer Hwui Shan, who came to America 1300 years before the first Chinatowns were founded on America's west coast by Cantonese speaking Chinese.
- 1823 - Chinese Entrepreneur Hung Tai Introduces Sugar Mills to Hawaii
- Hung Tai, a Chinese entrepreneur, brought sugar mills, to Hawaii, also known as the Hawaiian Islands.
- 1850 - Yee Fung Cheung Pioneers California's Gold Rush
- During the gold rush, Yee Feung Cheung, fleeing the Taiping Rebellion in China, came to the California goldfields. Which the Chinese called Gun Sam, but later practiced tradtional Chinese meicine and cured Governor Leland Stanford's wife.
- 1851 - Chinese Invention Revolutionizes Gold Mining
- Chinese miners revolutionized goldmining when they inveted the rocker box, also known as the Chinese rocker box.

- 1865 - Chinese American Laborers Build the Transcontinental Railroad
- Chinese Laborers, working for the Central Pacific Railroad, owned by Leland Stanford, helped build the Transcontinental Railroad, which was finishe at Promontory Point, Utah.
- 1882 - Congress Passes the Chinese Exclusion Act
- The Chinese Exclusion Act impacted Chinese American Civil Rights.
- 1884 - Joseph and Mary Tape Successfully Challenge San Francisco Public Schools
- Joseph and Mary Tape, worked to obtain civil rights and equal rights for their children's schooling, but the Caalifornia Supreme Court rulked the children must attend a, separate but equal Chinese primary school.

- 1887 - Doc Hay and Lung On Arrive on the Eastern Oregon Frontier
- Doc Hay and Lung On were Chinese American pioneers in Oregon, who formed the the Kam Wah Chung store, where Hay practiced Chinese Medicine.
- 1888 - Lue Gim Gong, Father of the Florida Citrus Industry
- Leu Gim Gong, known as the citrus wizard, was a pioneering Chinese geneticist who saved the Florida citrus industry.
- 1894 - Polly Bemis, an Angel in Idaho's Wilderness
- The life and times of Polly Bemis, an Idaho pioneer, are preserved by the Benedictine Sisters of St. Gertrude Monastery in Idaho.
- 1906 - San Francisco Earthquake's Impact on the Chinese American Community
- Chinese American's rebuilt San Francisco's Chinatown after it was destroye y the San Francisco earthquake of 1906.

- Eddy See starte the Chinese American Artistic Movement at his Dragon's Den restaurant, by showcasing artists like Gilbert Leong and Tyrus Wong, who created the Draon mural.

- 1971 - Bruce Lee Brings Martial Arts Into American Culture
- Bruce Lee was a master of Martial arts and Kung Fu, whose movie Enter the Dragon, opened the door for martial art action hero actoirs such as Jackie Chan, Jet Li.

- 2004 - Astronaut Dr. Leroy Chiao Votes From Space in the Presidential Election
- Leroy Chiao is an astronaut for NASA.
- 2009 - Yo-Yo Ma Performs at Barack Obama's Inauguration
